How do I take better photos for my newsletter updates?
How do I use media to show the urgency and need of the field to my friends and churches?
How can I preserve stories of God through media for the next generation?

We want to journey with you to gain photography and videography skills, enabling you to impact the world through MEDIA.

This coaching is conducted via ZOOM, and is a practical course.
Photo and video assignment submissions are required after each session to advance to the next session.

What will I get from this course?

Take better photos with good composition, eye catching and tells a story.
Understand the basics of reading light.
Understand dynamic range and how it affects image quality.
Shoot decent quality videos with basic budget equipment.
Plan and shoot videos that tell a story.

"But I don’t have a camera!"
GOOD NEWS! You do not need a camera for these sessions.

Basic requirements are:

Smart phone with camera.
Laptop (for post processing/ editing)
Internet connection (for attending the classes)

How can I join?

As an individual
With your spouse
As a ministry team with your mission’s agency/ organization.

What are the courses available?

All courses includes an Introduction to Media session (1.5 hours)
All other sessions are 2-3 hours each and comes with assignments.
Progress of sessions are dependent on your submission of assignments.
Students usually use 10-14 days to complete the assignments for each session.
Sessions are usually done once every 2 weeks.
Links to download the needed software will be provided.
All fees below are recommended amount, and a waiver can be considered.
Workers/ Nationals from the “global south” can apply for deduction from the training fee.

How do I enroll?

Send us an email ([email protected]) or Facebook message expressing interest.
We will send you the registration form.
After we receive your form, we will arrange for an orientation (30 min) with you.
You will then arrange your first session schedule with us.

DSLR/ Mirrorless/ Bridge camera intro – (5 sessions | PHP 5,000 | USD 125)
Objective: "A picture is worth a thousand words" Photos can communicate a story much more powerfully than a written article. We hope to equip you basic camera operation skills, and also knowledge in maintaining your equipment.

Course pre-requisite:

Have completed the basic media training course by Ablaze Media Productions or other training in photography.
Have basic photography knowledge regarding composition, framing, lighting, dynamic range, and post processing.
Owns a DSLR/ mirrorless/ bridge camera.

What will I get from this course?

Understand the basic operations of a camera (DSLR/ mirrorless/ bridge camera)
Learning how to shoot on manual/ shutter priority/ aperture priority mode.
Learning how to maximize the functions on a budget camera.
Know the ways in maintaining your equipment.
